Let's bask in the glory of that win through a few more gems from the Festivus episode:
In the immortal words of pro wrestler Ric Flair...Woooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! How about that display at Seahawks Stadium in front of a national audience last night? As Ric Flair also teaches us, to be the man you've got to beat the man. Well, that was an old fashioned ass whipping last night. There's taking someone out behind the woodshed, but that was taking them out back, prying off some 2x4's, and smacking them in the face. We officially have a rivalry on our hands my friends.
Let's bask in the glory of that win through a few more gems from the Festivus episode:

Ok, I need some help here. When was the last time you watched the Hawks go on the road and it didn't take years off your life? How refreshing was it to watch that game in Toronto last week and have absolutely zero concern that something bad was going to happen? The only travesty was that Psy did his Gangnam Style at halftime as opposed to a live version of Douchebag Harbaugh Style.
Well, as exciting as it was to watch that display in Buffalo, it was almost as disappointing to watch that disaster in Foxborough on Sunday night. Tom Brady and his Patriots have been undefeated at home in December for something like the last 25 years. The one time we actually need him to win, they crapped the bed like they had overloaded on Taco Bell the night before. While technically the division is still undecided, if we can't count on New England to win at home, what are the chances the Cardinals can win at America's Crappiest Stadium next week? Yeah, right up there with the Sea Gals being my Christmas present. Have we all recovered? I know it took me a couple days for the heart rate to get back to normal after that game in Chicago. That game probably shaved a few months off my life and necessitated some apologies to the neighbors. I know I've complained in the season previews about the Seahawks seemingly having to go to Chicago every year, but at least they're pretty successful when they do.
Ok, show of hands, who enjoyed Jim Harbaugh and the Niners going down in flames in St. Louis almost as much as the Hawks win? Yep, that would be my hand in the air. That pretty much made my Sunday. Then to have Mitch debut "Douchebag Harbaugh Style" on Monday's show? That's just icing on the cake. Now we're back in the cozy confines of Seahawks Stadium this week. The Cardinals and their quarterback sideshow make their way to town. Let's preview through the hijinks of a hypothetical Washington governor's election (although ol' Gregoire looks eerily similar to Gov. Tracy, doesn't she?). I don't know about you, but my blood pressure has finally returned to normal after the 4th quarter and overtime periods of that amazing Seahawks victory. Watching from my hotel room in the 6AM hour, I went from jumping on the bed in joy to yelling at my computer streaming the game in mere seconds - which I doubt to be alone in this reaction. With four critical games left and coming home after a two game road stretch I must admit there is concern that some members of the 12th Man may peak out early in the 1st quarter on Sunday. One must exercise their vocal cords to be fully prepared for the 12th Man sound fury that will be unleashed against the Cardinals as the Seahawks exact revenge from the week 1 loss. Fortunately we know the most qualified 12th Man vocal coach to ever live - THE Sea Pope from Hawk One Tailgate. Practice early and often this week, because WE are the TWELVE MAN!!! |
