I cannot speak for you, but I'm pretty sure my blood pressure did not recover until Tuesday (along with voice and maybe liver...). The game was the about the lowest of the low and the highest of high in watching football. If there is ONE thing Seahawks fans should know about Pete Carroll's philosophy of winning, it's about how you finish. That is not radical thinking, if you sprint out of the gate and leave no gas in the tank to finish, what is the point.
That is not a perfect analogy to football, but the Seahawks have proven that it works for them. And so as a fan, how can I doubt that concept when the team knows what is on the line. Lose this game, they are packing up lockers on Monday. Win this game and you are on your way to a second consecutive Super Bowl. Never give up.
There is no doubt that the first half is an utter let down from what we expect from Seahawks football. But anybody remember the weather delayed game against the Niner's, the Tampa Bay game, the Oakland game, or even last year's NFC Championship? This Seahawks team plays a second half better than anybody.
| Yeah, so the second half offense still isn't clicking, but with one quarter left and the Seahawks defense shutting down Green Bay in the 3rd, it is not over. |
Couldn't agree with Riley more. This is not the Seahawks we know. The team knows this is not them, the frustration on the sidelines in palpable in the stadium. But this is not the first or last time I have been called an optimist...
| More people are leaving our beloved section 339. Jen, Mark, Dave and I are stressed. We believe in this team, and while it is a sport, we all know that we and this entire region revere Seahawks football more than a form of entertainment. I'm pretty sure that Harborview has called in extra medical staff to treat fan heart attacks. Remember one year ago? It was the Seahawks that held a thin lead going into the end of the game. How did that work out. SB48. |
It has been a rough day for the offense, especially the receivers. No one knows that more then them. Most would crumble under the pressure. But what has history shown about these pedestrians? They don't know how to quit, they embody Pete's Always Compete philosophy. The blade of the axe is sharp and I know we can count on them to more than recover. My #89 jersey is proudly displayed. I have hope in the skill.
| THAT JUST HAPPENED!!! Both Wisconsin and Washington residents are saying the same thing. Both groups are crying. The difference is that all Seahawks fans are crying tears of joy. We're now hugging strangers, and even though I have a fierce personal space bubble, I DO NOT CARE!!! THE SEAHAWKS ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!! AGAIN. Let the party begin, it's off to the tailgate to celebrate with friends. This night is one of the ages. I just hope there is one more celebration. See you in Arizona. |
According to TiqIQ, the current average price of Super Bowl tickets on the secondary market is $4,679.21. This price is 23.89% up from last year at the same time.
The cheapest ticket available is $2,125, with cheapest 100's Level ticket costing $2,885. Also of note, 25% of Super Bowl ticket transactions have been from Washington with another 5% from Oregon. 20% are from Massachusetts with 5% from Connecticut. It looks like the 12's will have the attendance advantage in Phoenix.
